The Idea of this trip was to drive to each state and ride a century on the bicycle there. The plan did not include Alaska or Hawaii. I had the general route from state to state planned, but I did no planning of the local bicycle ride or even where in the state I would go, until I arrived at the state. Between 6/19/95 and 9/21/95 I did 39 states. At that time I had to quit because of illness in the family. I hope to do the last 9 states in 1996.
